For one week only, Electronic Arts is giving away Battlefield 4's Naval Strike expansion on Xbox One. The catch? You have to be an EA Access member to get the expansion for free.

If you are, you can pick up Naval Strike for free now through September 3. After that, "it's yours to keep forever," Electronic Arts said in a release, suggesting it's not tied to you keeping your membership active.

The Naval Strike DLC for Battlefield 4 introduces four new multiplayer maps (set in the South China sea), five new weapons, two gadgets, and a new hovercraft vehicle that can traverse both land and water. It also adds the Carrier Assault mode, which is an homage to Battlefield 2142's fan-favorite Titan mode.

EA Access costs $5/month or $30/year. In addition to bonuses like this, a membership grants you 10 percent off all EA digital content, as well as access to the program's growing library of free games.

GameSpot spoke with Electronic Arts COO Peter Moore earlier this month about the reception to EA Access and if it'll ever come to new platforms. He said people are loving EA Access on Xbox One, but wouldn't budge when pressed on whether or not it's coming to PlayStation 4.

Asked if he wants to see EA Access on PS4, Moore replied, "Doesn't matter. It's on Xbox One, and those customers love it."
