Battlefield 4 PC hit with DDoS attack, PS4 crash fix on the way

is anyone else getting crashes for Assassin's Creed 4? ive been getting the CE-34878-0 error after an hour or so of gameplay, every time i try to play the game. should i consider getting a new console from sony, or wait a month and see what happens?

My battlefield experience has been going pretty good I mean theres no 64player matches or conquest which was the only reason I got this game but im sure theyre working on that right now and as far as getting kicked out it only happened to me a couple of times at first but it seems to be good now but still cant wait to get that full experience

This is just unacceptable releasing a broken game and charging me 60 bucks and not even able to play it, I got this day one with my PS4 and find out that the games keep crashing with the blue screen. If I knew this would of been the case would never buy it and would of got AC4 instead I'm done with EA and their games until they start to release games that work on day one.

Played it on PS4 today(tuesday) and could only get into TDM & DOMINATION games sometimes. I was repeatedly kicked out to a blue error screen and asked to report the problem and review my connectivity which was fine. No conquest servers or anything involving large vehicle maps would work and all of the conquest servers to choose from outside of quick match had 0/32 or 0/64 players. I figured they would have all this shit worked out by launch especially since we are paying for PSN. I guess I'll keep flying around the test range as long as that works until I can get into a game of conquest sometime this year.

It is sad that when we have to rely of other's the handle our affairs, that their inability to provide us with the expected service(s) causes us to be denied what we have paid for. Things were better in the "old days" when one just placed the DVD in, it downloaded onto your hard drive and you played the game, today one has to go through other's who are not qualified to handle problems, but requires one to go through them to play. Enough of this crap and go back to the "old days" so we can get our monies worth without the middle man.

But, of course, no fix for the PS3/360 versions.

Even when the game is, "COMPLETED" these bugs are always going to appear. Hey kids how about nagging Bethesda, they are in noway innocent of this.

The thing that concerns me is that all my stats are stuffed up due to the game crashing all the time; for example it claims I've quit half way through 30% of the games by that's actually because the game crashes 30% of the time before the last patch. The other thing is claims is that my accuracy is only 7% even though if I look at my individual weapons non of them have less than 20%.

They should give all early adopters the Premium service free since we basically paid 60 dollars to wait for a fix

PS4 version worked great saturday, then sunday file was corrupt and it booted me out every second game, we gave up finally. Playing Resogun now, beautiful and addictive and free for PS+

DDoS was made on purpose to downplay the PS4 version after seeing it ahead against high end "1080p" gaming PCs

EA: "They bought the game didn't they?" Hahaha!

DICE is somewhat of an enigma, they are a Swedish company and they were never renowned for making a polished experience, even though Swedish design philosophy is sturdy from the foundation and polished to the max. none of those aspects are reflected in DICE's work. also compare other Swedish companies to DICE, like Volvo and Bofors, the difference in quality is staggering. even other Swedish game companies have top notch (also that Notch..) quality control.

even though much of the blame is on EA, especially considering how much they pushed DICE to the edge and obviously pushing this game before it's finished just to beat COD (which Ghosts own mediocrity is it's undoing)- DICE is responsible for many of the asinine ideas behind Battlefield 3 and 4 framework and networking. the fact that Battlelog is this website leaves it right open to attacks, i heard a lot about how easy it is to hack the servers and Ddos them, and this have been happening not since BF4- this has been a Battlefield pandemic since the first one.

DICE, you are embarrassing Sweden's reputation for excellence, get your sh**t sorted! it's like the millionth Battlefield you create, and the same freaking bugs from 10 years ago still appear in those entries!

Doesn't this game have dedicated servers? Or does that not have anything to do with it?

Well someone is probably upset about the many many bugs present. I dont get how they dont get that having a DDoS attack doesnt make things better.

EA/DICE fix the damn game....the amount of bugs and the time it takes you to fix them is inexcusable! The last time they put out a patch it introduced more bugs then it fixed! It shouldnt be suprising tho, it was the same with BF3 and BFBC2. I'm thinking the Frostbite engine is kinda dodgy and prone to bugs.

EA deserves it for releasing a buggy piece of shit incomplete game anyways.

They always use ''DDOS'' as an excuse, but lets be honoust anyone who has used origin even for a day knows that their service sucks.

First they blame sony now they blame hackers but their servers have been buggy since the beta they need to start refunding people their money instead of selling us a broken game and violating consumer rights

DDoS attack! hahahaha nice excuse EA. if bf4 was delayed most of this problems if not all wouldn´t be there. besides all the crashes and bugs(some of them fixed in bf3 and are back in bf4), there is a big problem with bf4 and it is the netcode. in bf3 the netcode was never fixed, dice improved it with patches but was never fixed and i hope this time dice fix the nercode.

I thought DRM was meant to prevent this type of attack. Can't you just block the accounts of those who abuse the system?

Seems to be stabilizing now, thank god, however think i have just realised the people who generally shout stuff like "camper" or "noob tuber" in Battlefield of all things (or cod for that matter), are just generally shit at FPS games , rush there opponents expecting to John Rambo everyone, if you did that in CS you would get laughed at , oh because it couldn't be your skill that is the problem, lets blame the game and the people you rush who don't run around with sprint engaged 100% of the time, too many CoD noobs running around.
