Battlefield 4 double XP kicks off tomorrow

A double XP weekend event for Battlefield 4 Premium members kicks off tomorrow, January 25, developer DICE announced today. The promotion begins tomorrow at 2 a.m. PDT and presumably ends sometime the morning of January 27, if history serves as precedent.

This is the second double XP event DICE has offered for Battlefield 4 Premium members this month, following a similar weekend promotion January 3-5. A Battlefield Premium subscription is $50 and also includes access to five expansions and other new content released on a weekly basis.

DICE has released numerous patches and updates for Battlefield 4 since launch, but a handful of issues continue to beset the game. As outlined through the game's Top Issues Tracker, all platforms continue to face issues like sudden frame rate drops, incorrect damage effects, rubber-banding, and a "desynchronized" game world where some objects have different states for different players. DICE is investigating those issues and others.

What are these major bugs for BF4? Asides from a handful of instances where I've spawned right in enemy sights or a map has failed to load, I have had no other problems.

I thought Ghosts campaign was better than the last few, but I don't play online much, and Battlefield well...it's got too many issues and crazy addicted fans for my liking. Too many people around bitching in this game, it feels like an out of control house party where people are too drunk and angry and want to leave.

This is why Titanfall's 6v6 player cap has me inspired, because I think it will be easier to immerse yourself in a world with less player chaos. You tend to be more cooperative with a small intimate group than a huge 20-30 men team. The world/maps having more AI than players should also make for better narrative giving the developer more leeway to immerse you in their story rather than just be a bunch of people running and gunning on a static map until the timer runs out.

I think they do little bit at least since they keep asking for consumer feedback and they care if fanbase diminishes then money goes also. Not asking for the money back but would like an official apology.

But I wouldn't dare recommend the masses to play aa or arma. Only reason I would say get arma II is for day z. The point is cod is as much as a military shooter as unreal is.

Netcode could use some optimization, sure. Haven't personally experienced any other problems other than 2-3 crashes in the first week of release.


So it's about time to get a new line kiddo because yours is about 2 months outdated, and get with the times.


P.S Get a non-cod nickname while you're at it. If you wanna talk with the big boys about BF4. Peace out.

They both exploit peoples interest in games, exploit staff, exploit resources, they both lie and manipulate, all to make more money. It has never been "let us provide a good game that people will enjoy", with both companies for many years the thought has been, "lets make a game and see how much interest we can build and then charge as much as possible for it and DLCDLCDLC". Greed pure and simple both of them. You can bicker all you want about games and opinions but the truth is they both EA & Activision suck.


Regardless of which company is worse, the game is subject to opinion. I detest CoD, it is just a terrible terrible game. I enjoy BF it is more tactical and enjoyable. CoD will always be, and has always been a bad game. BF is bad because of bugs and it was rushed but it is a good game and can be fixed, CoD will never be fixed just re-released, This is an opinion, my opinion, not saying that it is a truth or fact, I will not change anyone's mind one way or the other with pointless arguments, explain your reasons and maybe try to see the others point of view, but this pointless bickering does no one any favors and is wasting your own limited and valuable time.


Both games exist and you get to play the one you like and avoid the one you don't or maybe play both and enjoy them for different reasons.
