Baldur's Gate 3 has introduced multiple patches since it launched on PC earlier this month, and the fixes and improvements in those updates will be rolled into the PS5 edition "and beyond."

Larian's Michael Douse said on Twitter that, "All of that improvements and fixes to the game will be reflected in the PlayStation 5 version and beyond." This was expected, of course, but Larian is making it official with this statement. As for the "beyond" reference, that could pertain to the potential Xbox version.

Baldur's Gate 3's patches so have have addressed more than 450 issues. The latest patch addressed an issue that could cause penises to clip through clothing. A game-breaking save-corruption bug has also been fixed.

Additionally, Larian recently provided an update on the upcoming launch of Baldur's Gate 3 for PS5 in September, saying there is still "work to be done" before the studio is ready to ship the game on September 6.

Baldur's Gate 3 could also come to Xbox, but not until Larian and Microsoft can improvement performance on Xbox Series S.

Baldur's Gate 3 has put up huge numbers on Steam, exceeding 800,000 concurrent players just after launch. Over its first weekend, time spent playing Baldur's Gate 3 made up a quarter of total playtime across Steam.
