Final Fantasy XII has continued its strong run in the Australian game sales charts, taking out the top spot for the third week in a row.

The latest game in the role-playing franchise was the best seller in Australia for the week of March 12 to 18, according to figures from data trackers GfK Australia. In second spot was The Sims 2: Seasons, a position it has also occupied for the previous two weeks.

Coming in with a bullet this week was Sonic and the Secret Rings for the Nintendo Wii, which landed in at third spot. Nintendo had an extremely high turnout in this week's charts, with five out of the top 10 being games for the DS or the Wii.
