Aussie game charts: April 27-May 3

Just a few weeks shy of its first birthday, Nintendo's Wii Fit added one more notch to its belt when it claimed yet another week at the top of the charts, according to data trackers GfK Australia. As usual, the Wii Play bundle, which comes with a bonus Wii Remote, wasn't too far behind; it landed in the second position for the week of April 27-May 3.

Dr Kawashima had a prosperous week thanks to both of his games earning back-to-back places, with Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain moving up into the third spot and its sequel, More Brain Training from Dr Kawashima: How Old Is Your Brain, just below it in fourth place. The only game to retain its position this week compared to last week's charts was Mario Kart Wii at number five. Club Penguin: Elite Penguin Force saw a minor slip in positions, dropping into sixth place. Interestingly, the PlayStation 3 version of X-Men Origins: Wolverine, which debuted alongside the movie's release, took the seventh spot, whereas its Xbox 360 cousin managed to claw its way to number nine. In-between the animalistic duo is SingStar Queen at number eight, and finally Killzone 2 came in at 10th place.
