The fourth game in the Soulcalibur series hits the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 this Thursday in Australia. For those unfamiliar with the franchise, the main difference between Soulcalibur and other fighting games is its emphasis on weapon-based fighting. Like previous games, each console-specific edition of the game features an exclusive character, with Darth Vader appearing on the PlayStation 3 version and Yoda appearing on the Xbox 360. For the first time in the series, Soulcalibur IV is going online with one-on-one support for Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network. Check back soon for our full review.

Hot on the heels of Buzz: Quiz TV comes Buzz: Master Quiz, the first game in the series to appear on Sony's PlayStation Portable. The most noticeable difference between this and normal Buzz! games is the lack of buzzers. Instead, you use the buttons on the PSP to select your answer. The game features more than 5,000 questions and can be played in game-share mode with just one disc. Buzz: Master Quiz comes out on the 31st of this month in Australia.
