Atari today announced Tycoon City: New York will ship this holiday season for the PC. The strategy game is being developed by Deep Red Games, creators of Vegas Tycoon and Monopoly Tycoon.

Tycoon City: New York lets gamers become Donald Trumps-in-training by establishing an entrepreneurial empire in the Big Apple. Starting fresh as a young businessperson, gamers build, upgrade, and customize several business properties ranging from nightclubs to theaters. The game will feature authentic New York City landmarks and neighborhoods, as well as real-world brands.

"Tycoon City: New York is a game that is easy to play, yet difficult to master, providing a multitude of strategic challenges and the fun of customizing New York City without requiring a degree in city planning," said John Billington, senior brand manager for Atari.
