Have you always wanted to try your hand at the stunt driving featured in the Driver games? How about behind the wheel of your own Driver-inspired muscle car? Atari announced today that it has partnered with MTV to let the winner of the Take the Wheel for Real Sweepstakes do just that.

The contest boasts a grand prize package valued at more than $50,000. The winner will receive a three-day trip to Miami, including one day of high-speed driving lessons, his or her own custom 1967 Ford Mustang, $1,000 in cash, and, of course, Xbox and PlayStation 2 copies of Driver 3. The car is the same one used in the Run the Gauntlet film at the game's Web site.

Entrants simply fill out a form at MTV's Web site and answer three questions about the game, the answers to which can be found at the Driver 3 Web site. According to the official rules, a winner will be picked on or around July 15.

Atari shipped more than 2.5 million copies of Driver 3 worldwide in its first week. It is the third in the series of driving action games where players are put in the shoes of undercover FBI agent Tanner as he attempts to infiltrate crime rings. It was released for the Xbox and PS2 in June. A PC version is planned for release in September.
