Assassin's Creed Unity Video Features Fake Morgan Freeman and Arnold Schwarzenegger

Ahead of Assassin's Creed Unity's release on November 11, Ubisoft has now published a promotional video (via VideoGamer) showing celebrities Morgan Freeman, Arnold Schwarzenegger, David Attenborough, and Alan Carr playing the game's co-op mode.

It's not really them playing, however, just people doing impersonations of them. The video is meant to highlight Unity's four-player co-op mode, where gamers can team up to take on various objectives throughout the open world of 18th century Paris.

In this particular video, we see them zipping across Parisian rooftops before breaking into a massive mansion in an attempt to locate a hidden painting.

It's an interesting piece of marketing material--and it's certainly not the strangest we've ever seen--but I have to imagine that it would have resonated better with viewers had the video actually featured real celebrities. Did you like the trailer? Let us know in the comments below.

Unity is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC. Meanwhile, Ubisoft will also release Assassin's Creed Rogue on November 11, but for last-generation consoles.
