Assassin's Creed PSP bundled up in white
$200 Bloodlines bundle arrives in November with white PSP-3000, 2GB memory stick, and a UMD movie.
Sony is looking to make a killing with its next PSP bundle. The electronics giant today detailed a new limited edition Entertainment Pack, one featuring the murderously minded Assassin's Creed: Bloodlines.
Set for release in November, the bundle will include Ubisoft's action game, a white PSP-3000, a 2GB memory stick, and an unspecified UMD movie. As with comparable PSP hardware bundles in the past, The Assassin's Creed Entertainment Pack will sell for $199.99.
Serving as a bridge between the original Assassin's Creed and this holiday season's sequel, Bloodlines will pick up the story of Altair after the first game's events. Developed by Griptonite Games (the studio behind the DS and PSP editions of X-Men Origins: Wolverine), Bloodlines will incorporate open-world exploration and combat based on the original Xbox 360, PS3, and PC game, with a variety of new mission types thrown in.
The portable pursuits of Altair will also interface with the PS3 edition of Ubisoft's full-fledged Assassin's Creed sequel when it arrives November 17. Upgrades and unlockables earned by players in the handheld game will carry over to the console title, and vice-versa.
