"Choose Life."

With Assassin's Creed Odyssey's release coming up soon, the Ubisoft Marketing Machine is kicking into gear. The company has release a new live-action trailer for the open-world stealthy-stabby game, and it's quite a treat.

Titled "Choose Life," the video focuses on how Odyssey is more of an RPG than past games; you're able to make bigger decisions and different dialogue choices than before. You can also choose to play as a male or female character at the start of the game. Ubisoft is promising that Odyssey will deliver "story-altering choices," with the world at large getting shaped by those decisions.

The Odyssey live-action trailer is an homage to the opening scene from Danny Boyle's Trainspotting. it features the song "Lust for Life" by Iggy Pop.

Odyssey launches on October 5 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC (and Nintendo Switch in Japan). People who buy the more expensive versions can start playing on October 2.
