Assassin's Creed Toys Meant to Introduce Kids to the Franchise, Ubisoft Says

They have finally realized they fu*ked up with their audience, so they're starting anew with children.

"Hey look mommy I just used my hidden blade on daddy!"

That is just mind fuk!ngly stupid, who the hell came up with this dumb marketing stunt?

"Hey kids, enjoyed your toys? play the video game next, you'll get to kill people in many gruesome different ways"

And how do you create a game where the central point is to stick a hidden blade into the neck of Templars, for kids? Any decent parent with a brain in their head wouldn't let any kid young enough to enjoy playing with AC toys play any game that features stalking your target & murdering them.

Next year: Lego Assassin's Creed: Lethal Blocks.

Really, Ubisoft(Or Abstergo, idk at this point) are thinking that they can teach "history" to kids, huh? lol

"Ubisoft suggests it could create an Assassin's Creed tailored for kids" Uhh, yeah, that sounds like a great idea. There is nothing that's more family friendly or "suitable for kids" than murdering people like they do in AC.

I don't see what the fuss is about. I'm sure he's telling the truth when he says he only wants to get kids interested in this brand about bloody assassinations and doesn't care about the money at all. :/

Making it kid-friendly will just ruin it

Because Joe the Camel was such a good idea.

Do the toys not work? Are part of their faces missing? Are their animations and dialogue messed up?

Cause otherwise, it's not authentic.

And the argument that video games aren't inherently evil and corrupting kids takes 1 step backwards.

This is the same reason the Django Unchained and Breaking Bad 'toys' were criticized by most of society. Don't TRY TO introduce kids to concepts they're not, or there parents/ guardians don't believe they're ready for!

Ubi crossed a new low, they're clearly the worst in the industry now.

"Hey kids come check out our game rated 5-7 years above your age bracket" Its like Joe camel but with video games.

They don't say how much they are. £60 I bet lol.

I just cant believe this sh#t....look even if u wanna captivate kids make a NEW freaking IP dont rape the major one u have...specially taking in consideration what Watch Dogs and Unity did for ubis reputation... I hope they completly implode and go bankrupt. It makes me sad...Ubi has so much talent but their marketing and magagement should be shot in the face.

What a stupid idea, using toys to introduce kids to games they can't and shouldn't play. Talk about brain-haemorrhage. They also look incredibly cheap.

They then went on to say: "We aren't entirely sure how fast we can run this franchise into the ground, but we are trying as hard as we can. To add... action heroes who did PG-13 to R rated movies got cartoons (anyone remember Jackie Chan Adventures or Chuck Norris Karate Kommandos?)

Talk about ignorance.Ubisoft still goes on with AC, the series became bad after brotherhood only Black Flag showed some redemption for AC.And now toys.....They are living in their own world aren't they.Funny thing how this started as a trilogy...You lost your way Ubi just kill it,they don't even know where the story is going.But money is money right?
