Asheron's Call 2 servers merge

Microsoft has announced on the Asheron's Call 2 Web site that it will make significant adjustments to the number of game servers during the upcoming August episode patch. Seven servers will be merged into two servers. Players don't have to worry about losing characters, as all characters will be moved over, even if that results in some players having a number of additional characters on a single server during a 60-day transitional period. The other two current US servers--the recently merged coldeve-snowreap world and the player vs. player server darktide--will be untouched by the move for the time being, but Microsoft noted that the darktide population is low enough that the server may be decommissioned.
