Arush launches GameCapsule

The episodic games publisher reveals its online distribution system for games.

Comments

Arush Entertainment, the episodic games publisher responsible for Monkey Brains, Primal Prey, and Feedn' Chloe, has announced its proprietary online distribution system, GameCapsule. The system is designed to act as a digital package for downloadable games. It streamlines the downloading, installation, and updating processes for games, and it can be licensed to other companies for use on their own Web sites.

According to Arush, the GameCapsule provides a way for Internet companies to expand their revenue stream. "With declining advertising revenues at most Internet companies, the industry is shifting from free to fee-based services," said Jim Perkins, president and CEO of Arush Entertainment. "But offering original content people are willing to pay for usually requires significant investment of time and resources. With the GameCapsule, portals and Web sites can instantly offer premium content to their customers without breaking the bank."
