Actor and former bodybuilding champion Arnold Schwarzenegger has shared his thoughts on what he believes happens when we die. In an interview alongside Danny DeVito for Interview Magazine, the Terminator star said our physical bodies will crumble away and that's it. As for the spiritual question, Schwarzenegger said he's no expert in that stuff.

"I said, 'We don't know what happens with the soul and all this spiritual stuff that I'm not an expert in, but I know that the body as we see each other now, we will never see each other again like that," he said, quoting his own original statement on the subject from an earlier Howard Stern interview.

The idea of seeing loved ones again in heaven "sounds so good," but it's a fantasy, he said. "The reality is that we won’t see each other again after we're gone. That's the sad part. I know people feel comfortable with death, but I don't," he said. "Because I will f**king miss the sh** out of everything. To sit with you here, that will one day be gone?"

"I don't know what the deal is, but in any case, it's a reality, and it truly pisses me off," he said.

As for DeVito, he said he believes heaven is a place in his mind where he puts people that he has loved dearly and made a difference in his life. "I keep them in a spot in my head, like that front row that you have of all of your friends. And you always have a good feeling when you think of them," he said.

Before his, actor Nicolas Cage discussed what he believes happens when we die. He said everyone has a "spark" and that this might be able to continue in some form after death.

"Nobody really knows. I don't know. They say that electricity is forever, eternal; the spark keeps going. I'd like to think whatever spark is animating our bodies, once the body passes on that the spark continues to go. But whether or not that electricity has consciousness or not, who could really say?" he said.
