The Ark animated TV show, which features a huge cast of big names, is out now on Paramount Plus, and the release came unexpectedly. The official Ark social media account confirmed that the Ark: The Animated Series surprise-dropped on Paramount Plus on March 21.

The series features the voices of Vin Diesel, Michelle Yeoh, Gerard Butler, Malcolm McDowell, Russell Crowe, David Tennant, Jeffrey Wright, Elliot Page, Karl Urban, and Alan Tudyk.

The series is streaming now in the US and Canada and will come to other countries that have Paramount Plus beginning on April 19. This is just the latest video game TV series on Paramount Plus, as the platform also hosts the Halo TV series, which is now on its second season.

In addition to the TV show, a sequel to Ark is in the works with Vin Diesel playing a starring role.

The latest release in the Ark series was 2023's Ark: Survival Ascended, a remake of the original Ark using Unreal Engine 5. The game had a rocky launch and currently has a "mixed" critical reception on Steam.
