Now Playing: Maquette - Reveal Trailer

"Maquette is a puzzle game, but not in the sense that Sudoku is a puzzle, more like a story that has puzzles throughout," said Graceful Day creative director Hanford Lemoore on the PlayStation Blog. "As you explore the game’s recursive world, you’ll uncover memories of a young couple in love, solving puzzles through creative thinking."

Its most noteworthy feature comes in the form of its nested worlds--wherein aspects of its stages are found literally within one another. For instance, a player may encounter a large, unmovable cube blocking their path. However, if the player visits the small version of the level, they're able to move the cube, which, in turn, impacts the regular-sized world.

But Maquette isn't all about solving puzzles. It leans into emotional storytelling as well, sending players on a journey with an emphasis on love.
