Annabelle Comes Home: Latest Conjuring Spin-Off Delivers Scary Trailer
"It's not good for anyone to go in there."
The Conjuring universe continues to grow--the past year has seen the release of The Nun and The Curse of La Llorona, and in June the third Annabelle movie arrives. Annabelle Comes Home features Conjuring stars Patrick Wilson and Vera Farmiga and a new trailer has been released.
Wilson and Farmiga reprise their roles as paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren, who have placed cursed doll Annabelle safely in their basement museum of evil and supernatural objects. Unfortunately, their daughter's babysitter decides it would be good idea to start poking around. Annabelle is inevitably freed, and starts using the other artefacts for her own evil ends. Check the new trailer out above.
Annabelle Comes Home is directed by Gary Dauberman. Although this is Dauberman's first movie as director, he wrote the previous two movies in the series, plus the smash hit Stephen King adaptation It. Annabelle Comes Home hits theaters on June 26, 2019 and June 10 in the UK.
The next movie in this connected horror universe will be The Conjuring 3, which is set to arrive in September 2020 and will be helmed by The Curse of La Llorona's Michael Chaves. There's also a sequel to The Nun and a film titled The Crooked Man in development. For more check out GameSpot's guide to the scariest horror movie dolls.
