A. The best-selling game of 2020, this Nintendo exclusive has hosted some incredible examples of player creativity.
Q. What is Animal Crossing: New Horizons?

Redditor therealeddiemoney didn't originally intend to make a tribute to Alex Trebek, the longtime host of Jeopardy, who passed away from pancreatic cancer over the weekend. They had spent hours recreating their favorite game show in Animal Crossing: New Horizons on the morning of his passing.

"It was such a weird coincidence that I spent my morning working on this in [Animal Crossing] before it was announced that he passed," they said. Therealeddiemoney created a set on Harv's Island, a location in Animal Crossing: New Horizons where you can hold photo shoots, complete with the Jeopardy board, contestants, and Raymond playing the role of Trebek.

"Somehow knowing he was sick didn't make it any less difficult or shocking or sad when I found out this morning, too," they said. "Jeopardy is one of my all-time favorite things, and Alex was so, so wonderful."

Alex Trebek had been suffering from pancreatic cancer since early 2019 but continued to host the show during his treatment. He passed away Sunday morning at the age of 80 with friends and family by his side.

Trebek had hosted Jeopardy since 1984, making him the face of the show for 36 years. He's become a household name for many players, including fans of games like Animal Crossing. Some players have even recreated the game show on their islands.
