Anarchy Online: Shadowlands goes gold

Norway-based Funcom has today announced that development on Anarchy Online: Shadowlands is complete. The expansion pack is the first for the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Anarchy Online and will almost double the amount of content in the game through the introduction of new playfields, new professions, new monsters, new weapons and items, new dungeons, and lots more besides.

"We know we have created something truly unique," said game director Gaute Godager. "Shadowlands takes Anarchy Online to a whole new level. With highly innovative features, a magical ambience, and a creative universe without boundaries, we are sure that both new and existing players will find a deeply involving online gaming experience."
