The much-anticipated new season of American Horror Story has unveiled its official trailer, providing a first look at AHS: Delicate, the 12th installment of the FX anthology series. The season is split into two parts, with the first half set to premiere on September 20 on FX. Episodes will appear on Hulu a day after airing on FX. The release date for the second half has not been announced.

Delicate's cast includes Kim Kardashian, Emma Roberts, Cara Delevingne, Matt Czuchry, Billie Lourd, Denis O'Hare, Leslie Grossman, and Michaela Jaé Rodriguez. Breaking away from the traditional AHS format, this season exclusively draws inspiration from Danielle Valentine's "body horror" novel, Delicate Condition, which tells the story of an actress, portrayed by Roberts, who believes a sinister figure is conspiring against her pregnancy. (Thriller author Andrea Bartz called it the "feminist update to Rosemary's Baby we all needed.") Check out the trailer below to see what nightmares are in store.

Ryan Murphy, the creator American Horror Story, told The Hollywood Reporter earlier this year that the season's sole writer and showrunner Halley Feiffer "has written a fun, stylish and ultimately terrifying role especially for Kim, and this season is ambitious and unlike anything we have ever done." As this new trailer reveals, Kardashian takes on the role of a stylist and confidant to Roberts' character.

Check out everything coming to Hulu this month in our streaming rundown. American Horror Stories, the AHS spin-off, will return with a four-episode Halloween event on October 26, exclusively on Hulu.
