American Horror Stories Season 3 Trailer Brings Four New Horrifying Tales For Halloween

Season 3 of the anthology series treats fans to new horror tales that will be released right in time for Halloween.

As a spinoff of the hit anthology series American Horror Story, American Horror Stories--plural--features standalone anthology episodes in contrast to season-long arcs. American Horror Stories has already so far gotten two seasons on Hulu, and will soon get a Season 3 on October 26. Created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk for FX on Hulu, this series premiered back in July 2021 with this upcoming third season being the first released timed for Halloween.

FX Networks has released a trailer for American Horror Stories Season 3 which is chock full of creepy images and hints at four new tales. American Horror Stories Season 3 will premiere as part of Hulu's Huluween event. Check out the trailer below.

FX has released short synopses for each episode as well as the cast and crews involved:

  • “Bestie” – After the loss of her mother, a young woman seeks a connection with a mysterious online friend. Written by Joe Baken. Directed by Max Winkler. Cast: Emma Halleen, Seth Gabel, Jessica Barden, Seth Gabel, Jeff Hiller, Amrou Al-Kadhi, and more.
  • “Daphne” – An artificial intelligence smart device grows attached to her user. Written by Brad Falchuk & Manny Coto. Directed by Elegance Bratton. Cast: Reid Scott, Annie Hamilton, Allegra Heart, Christopher Fitzgerald, and more.
  • “Tapeworm” – An up-and-coming model will stop at nothing in her hunger for success. Written by Joe Baken. Directed by Alexis Martin Woodall. Cast: Laura Kariuki, Hazel Graye, Lisa Rinna, Rob Yang, and more.
  • “Organ” – A blind date through an online dating app goes very awry. Written by Manny Coto. Directed by Petra Collins. Cast: Raúl Castillo, Emily Browning, Laila Robins, Havana Rose Liu, Cameron Cowperthwaite, and more.

The first two seasons of American Horror Stories received mixed reviews so it might be a surprise to fans that Murphy and Falchuck brought this back for a third time. All four episodes will be released at once so you can binge them to get more into the Halloween spirit.
