Amazon Prime Members Can Grab 7 Free Games In December

As the final--and most festive!--month of the year is upon us, Amazon has unwrapped an early Christmas gift with the reveal of the December Prime Gaming lineup. This month, Amazon Prime subscribers can look forward to time-traveling action, survive as a castaway on a strange island, and aim for a high score in a psychedelic shooter.

As usual, the seven games can be claimed from the Prime Gaming hub, and there'll also be a new batch of games added to Amazon Luna's Prime Gaming Channel, including Fortnite, Trackmania, Strange Horticulture, Bloodrayne: Fresh Bites, Steel Assault, and Once Upon a Jester.

The biggest new release on Prime Gaming this month is easily Deathloop, Arkane's award-winning first-person shooter in which you need to find the perfect groove that'll allow you to assassinate eight individuals who have broken time. It's stylish, the retro-futuristic technology is a dream for fans of the analog past, and if you're up for a challenge, you can enable multiplayer so a human-controlled player can hunt you down in a deadly game of heavily armed cat and mouse. This game will be the first title added to Prime Gaming on December 7.

December 14 will see three new games made available for subscribers in the form of Akka Arrh, Aground, and SeaOrama: World of Shipping. Akka Arrh is a fast-paced, arcade shooter with some trippy visuals that'll assault your senses, Aground is a mining and crafting RPG with a 2D pixel art twist, and SeaOrama lets you experience the challenges of running a successful shipping company.

On December 21 you can add Kombinera, a brain-bending puzzle platformer involving the use of colored balls, to your collection. December 28 caps off the month with two more games, starting with A Tiny Sticker Sale. This is a cozy little adventure game about changing the world with the power of stickers, and it's joined by Asteroids: Recharged, a modern-day revival of an arcade classic, that same day.
