In the whole list of games produced for Star Wars, I don't see Star Wars online, The old Republic. I am currently playing the game and have several Republic characters that are now level 60. How Battle Fronts fits into the Star Wars Universe; i don't have a clue. If a player has an account and has more than one game; how do you manage your accounts? In Steam there is a means of managing all of your different accounts in one board; maybe that is what Lucas needs to do with Star Wars Universe.

They should point out that the Xwing and Tiefighter packs are not quite the same on Gog and Steam. On Gog you get the complete CD editions on Steam you don't basically.

Thankfully I already picked up all of the best Star Wars games in the Humble Bundle a couple weeks ago. $10 got me KOTOR 1 & 2, Republic Commandos, Empire At War, Force Unleashed 1 & 2, Battlefront II, Dark Forces, Jedi Outcast, Jedi Knight, and Starfighter. Only thing really missing from that pile is the Rogue Squadron games from the N64/Gamecube

Damn lucky person. I bought SWB2 a week before the sales for the starwars game on steam came out. It was a bummer but I installed all the mods for it the same day so it's the closes SWB3 I can get to the original and not the Dice verson.

Gamespots Sony fanboyism showing again. Xbox has several Star Wars games on sale as well. Mostly Lego and Force Unleashed games. Guess including those would be too much work?

@thecman25@bdrtfm: Yeah right. Did you even read the above post that I listed the complete falsehoods they were saying in a video from May 02? The article was about why systems are not backwards compatible and they had a 5 minute video of 2 staff saying how Xbox Live Gold is required for Netflix and Skype which is untrue. They also said the X1 is $100 more than PS4 which again is untrue. They then slammed Xbox for not having free games like PS+. Again, untrue. They then said the TV channel switching never works. Once again, untrue. Notice nothing in the video pertained to backwards compatibility - you know, the subject of the article? It was just a random flame video totally irrelevant to the topic of discussion.

@bdrtfm: I wouldn't call it "Sony fanboyism" considering Steam and GoG make up the majority of the sales here.

@RicanV@bdrtfm: Nah, they've made it pretty obvious since the release of Xbox One, they don't care for it at all. I mean, every Xbox video we've seen on here tears the console a new one. Title clearly says "All" Star Wars sales available yet, all the Xbox Star Wars sales are left out.

@bdrtfm@RicanV: most of the Starwars games were on original Xbox and 360 anyway.

However not all. PC is the best place to play them all and alot of them can be modded very well for modern systems.

@bdrtfm@RicanV: To be fair the Xbox sales are a little more obscure and less marketed than the others.

Aside from that, you really just have to look at the Order Review and several other PS exclusives that fell through. It would be one thing if those were rated higher.

Edit: The bias comment is made throughout almost every gaming website. In reality it would be rather difficult as they have advertisements for all the major consoles. It fluctuates as well based on whichever console is doing better. Ex: During Sunset Overdrive and Forza there were comments on bias for MS. Now that Bloodborne is out and getting positive reception with a few articles on bosses I see the PS bias comment.

@RicanV@bdrtfm: No, they are never biased when it comes to scoring games and such but, I just notice a slant towards a preference for PS4. I mean, just look at the last article about "Why current gen consoles don't have backwards compatibility" Right at the beginning of the article there was an out of place video of 2 staff talking about what they think s.ucks about the Xbox.

Same for the infamous "Is it time to buy an Xbox" video. It was filled with misinformation. And even the 2 people who actually admitted to owning an Xbox One, did so reluctantly and made off-handed snubs at it. I don't care one way or the other. I just call a spade a spade. Its pretty obvious the staff have a preference for PS. It doesn't affect their game reviews but, it is there none the less.

@RicanV@bdrtfm: Well yeah, I didn't say they go out of their way to ignore the system or avoid news for it. I'm just saying you can tell whenever the staff talks about the systems, they clearly prefer the PS4. I mean, one of the staff, I can't remember her name, even said she gets made fun of by everyone else at work because she prefers the Xbox. I mean, that's a pretty obvious preference for the PS4 console.

Like I said, I don't care. The PS4 is the better system specs wise and is killing the Xbox One in sales. I just think it should be a little less obvious coming from a gaming website. There was absolutely no reason to have that video of the 2 staff dissing the Xbox One in the Backwards Compatible article. All they talked about was all the things that make them dislike using the Xbox. What did that have to do with the article at hand?

@bdrtfm@RicanV: Just to be clear some of the things they said in the video that came out just 2 days ago were:

That Xbox Live Gold is required to use Netflix and Skype - False. Xbox Live Gold is not required for these services.

They said PS+ gives you free games for Vita, PS3 and PS4 and "almost never stops" while Xbox Live is "Just a hose job" No mention of the fact you get free games for Xbox One and 360.

They said that the TV function never works. That when you want a channel, you can't get it. I sell these consoles. I don't have anyone coming in saying they can't get the channels they want to watch to come up. My daughter is mentally and physically disabled and navigates the TV perfectly fine with voice commands.

They are still saying the Xbox One is $100 more expensive than the PS4. Another obvious falsehood.

@bdrtfm@bdrtfm: Hey bdrtfm, I understand your concern, and in this case, leaving out the Xbox deals was just an oversight. PC was the primary driver (since there are a lot more great PC Star Wars games). But the Xbox deals are added in now.

As for bias, if anything, we're primarily a group of PC gamers. Most people are only now geting a current-gen system. And yes, I'd probably guess that, much like the industry at large, more people game on PS4 than Xbox One, but the PS4 has also sold more than Xbox One.

Personally, I own both systems, and I love the exclusives I get on Xbox One (Ori, Master Chief, and Sunset Overdrive in particular), but for multiplayer games, I tend to go PS4. Not because that's what people in the office play, but because that's what the majority of my friends moved over to.

But that doesn't reflect everyone in the office. Eddie Makuch, one of our most prolific writers on the site (and one who's frequently accused of being a Sony fanboy), only owns a 360 and Xbox One!

@KerenskyTheRed:

Pretty good but still a bit expensive individually if you have everything else. I am only missing Xwing , have all the others. These are US prices anyway they are about $12 in Australia.
