Activision Takes the Clan

Rap meets video games in a duet that may surprise you

Comments

Reliable sources tell videogames.com that Activision has pulled the rap band the Wu-Tang Clan on board for a PlayStation game expected out by Christmas of next year. There's not a lot of information available at this time, but our source indicates that the title will be an action game, and that Wu-Tang will be involved in the development.

What does Activision say? Activision publicist Amy King isn't saying much. Nothing's been announced; it's just a rumor. But we can muse, perhaps, on the recent announcement of Cypress Hill's involvement in the King Pin PC game on its way out. Could video games be the next arena for the battle of the bands - particularly rap bands?

Stay with videogames.com for information on the game in progress.
