Datel Electronics has announced that it is no longer working with InterAct Accessories to distribute GameShark code products. Future Datel code devices will be released under the Action Replay name, and the first new product under the name will essentially be the much-delayed GameShark for the GameCube. The Action Replay for the GameCube will be released in late December for $39.99. In addition to allowing players to cheat in GameCube games, the unit will also let GameCubes play imported game discs.

At around the same time, Datel will release Action Replay for the PS2, which will be compatible with all GameShark 2 codes. The PS2 device will ship in December for $39.99, and a Game Boy Advance Action Replay will be out in January for $19.99. More information on Action Replay can be found on the codejunkies.com Web site.
