A Quiet Place Director John Krasinski's Next Movie Is Completely Different, Watch The First Trailer

Krasinski and Michael Scott actor Steve Carell are back together.

John Krasinski's next movie is nothing like his last one, and the first trailer has now arrived. Krasinski is following up A Quiet Place Part II with a new film starring Ryan Reynolds called If--and looks very nice and wholesome.

The movie is described a a "heartwarming, all-family" film. The premise is simple and powerful: a young girl (Cailey Fleming) discovers she can see the imaginary friends of children who grew up and moved on from them. The imaginary friends, however, were left abandoned. So it's up to the little girl, and Reynolds, to make things right. Here's the trailer:

The cast includes many big names, including Steve Carell, Fiona Shaw, Phoebe Waller-Bridge, Emily Blunt, Matt Damon, Maya Rudolph, Jon Stewart, Bobby Moynihan, Sam Rockwell, Sebastian Maniscalco, Christopher Meloni, Richard Jenkins, and Awkwafina.

Krasinski wrote and directed the movie. He's best known for playing Jim on the office, and in this film, he re-teams with another office star, Carrel, who played Jim's boss Michael Scott. If releases in theaters in May 2024.

After The Office, Krasinski directed 2016's The Hollars before breaking through in a bigger way with A Quiet Place and A Quiet Place: Part II.
