The mascot for Hideo Kojima's new studio is getting its own real-world statue. Kojima Productions and Prime 1 Studio have announced a 1/2 scale statue of the mascot, Ludens, who is wearing some kind of extra-vehicular activity (EVA) suit. Ludens also holds a flag that has the Kojima Productions logo on it.

According to the statue's official description, the design "has a high-tech feel, giving him a nostalgic ambiance. The surface of his EVA suit has 'Turing pattern'-like elements that slightly rotate, inspired by the Turing machine." It was designed by Metal Gear designer Yoji Shinkawa.

The statue is incredibly rare, as only 150 are being made, and they'll be signed by Kojima himself. It stands 63 inches tall and has LED lights on the helmet.

You can preorder one right here on the Sideshow website. The statue won't ship for a very long time, however, as it's not slated to go out until sometime in the January-March 2018. You can pay $2000 all at once or put down a $200 deposit and then pay the remainder with monthly payments of $225.

There is a limit of one per person. Go the Sideshow website to learn more. To get a closer look at the statue, click through the images in the gallery below--note that this is only a prototype for now.
