Too old school for me.

Since I'm a fan of KOF games (and the Art of Fighting team) I decided to check the games that started it all, after playing all 3 games for a few hours I can say that the originals arent for me.
The series hasn't aged well, with outdated graphics and the limited cast of selectable characters, but I don't mind this, in fact, I enjoy old 2D fighters. The thing that totally ruined the game for me was the unforgiving difficulty, even in the lowest settings the enemies are almost impossible to defeat; the poor controls didn't help out either.
I'm sure these games were revolutionary in their time and that they helped make fighting games the way they are now, but it's still a port of a 15 year old game with no extras to speak. So unless you grew up playing these games back in the day you're better off getting a KOF and selecting the Art of Fighting team, because I doubt that today's gamers will really appreciate this anthology of games.
