Arena Football (2006)

If you're a fan of AFL, then you'll appreciate the effort. I'm looking forward to future versions of this game.

As a sports gamer and an AFL fan, I was excited at the prospect of this game. For a first time AFL game, it’s an impressive effort. Hopefully EA had enough sales to justify future versions of the game.

The football game play is easy to pick up and is reminiscent of older versions of NFL Blitz. I wish there were more plays in the playbook however, as part of the fun of any sports game is trying some wacky plays you would never see for real.

The running plays could use some improvement, if only to mix things up a bit so that you don’t get bored passing the ball all the time.

Overall, it’s a good game to add to your collection if you’re a sports fan.

  Arena Football captures the true feeling of the real sport and puts it in one damn good game!
