I've rented this game a couple times to play at a friend's house. It's a fun game to play. I've become a big Arena Football fan over the last couple years (go Rush!), so I decided to try out their newer video game. I like the gameplay; the plays are easy to understand, easy to control. The mini-game events are fun as well, especially "Be the Receiver" and the wall-hit one. My only "gripe", you could say, is the way the game is presented. The way it's presented, it reminds me of Arena Football with an NFL Blitz-style. There seems to be too many wall hits and dirty hits, more than I've seen on TV in actual games. To me that kinda puts a worse image on the league. Don't misunderstand me; it's fun to do all those hits :), but I don't think there should be as many in this game. I'd recommend buying this if you're an AFL fan or just someone who likes hard-hitting football.
