Galaga and Galaxian are two well-known addictive arcade games that were seen in tons of arcades during the 1980's. Galaxian was released in 1979 while Galaga was released in 1981. These two arcade hits were released on several gaming consoles that most of us have today. They were also released on handheld consoles (mostly in a collection with several other games by Namco), such as the Playstation Portable and the Game Boy Advance. Namco also released one for the Game Boy. Now let's cut to the chase!
This game is very difficult to find in stores now (mainly because Game Boy games are not made anymore). However, several cartridges pop up on shopping websites like eBay.
The game plays similar to the arcade games except with a few flaws. There is no color (unless you play the game on a Game Boy Color) and sometimes the controls are sticky. However, I found this game to be lots of fun. You're better off getting it on a different game such as Namco Museum though.
