Decent but brings nothing significant to the franchise...

I liked the game, but I had just finished playing Rome: Total War, and at this point I was just bored. I did not think there were any significant additions, in fact I think something about the combat system got worse... I couldn't point it out if I had too, but I just didn't like how things behaved. If I hadn't played Rome just before I most certainly would have liked this game a little more, but it felt like an almost purely graphic overhaul, and I hate it when companies market those...
As a series I love the total war games. Just the right amount of turn based strategy with plenty of RTS interspersed. Not to mention the fun of watching little peasants get thrown across the field when charged at by a calvary charge. The siege warfare is also a nice aspect, improved on in this game, but, unfortunately, that alone was not enough to grab my attention.
