It's your first need if you've PS2 beacuse God Of War is brutal, ruthless & bloody and being the BEST game.
Story: The main character,Kratos,was saved by Ares. But Ares killed Kratos' family from Kratos own hands. The hatred arises and Kratos changes his path to kill the God of War.Other gods helped Kratos with weapons and magic to kill Ares, who was destroying the city of Athens. Kratos follows the way of gods and in the end, was able to kill Ares. He became the new GoW.
Gameplay: Simply Awesome. It includes bloody, stylish combat with good special efects.It's not the only thing. Many challenging puzzles appear time to time in the game. As you move forwards towards Pandora box, Kratos is awarded with new skils and new combos which is terrific and specific in it's own way.Other than blades of chaos, Kratos will get Blades of Artemis later in the game. Zeus gives Zeus fury,Hades gives you the 'Army of hades(souls), Poseidon gives you the Rage and Kratos gets Medusa gaze(which stuns enemis for a while).It also don't take much time in loading too.
Difficulty:It's not that difficult but if you concentrate and play well, you can even end God Mode in God Of War.There are things which are very easy to beat but few of them becomes pain in the neck for a while. It includes puzzles, timings & tapping O.
Graphics: Graphics in cutscenes are insane but during game the graphics are just good. Although environmental graphics are excellent but it becomes poor for blades of chaos.But if we take an overview they are quite excellant.
Sound: I think this feature is the best part of the game. If you want to approve it just play a little part of Gow when TV is at mute mode and then play it again with sound.You'll make the difference. Voices of every character are seemed to be perfect to their role in the game.
The Good: Thrilling Story, Impressive gameplay and Sound Effects, upgrades, Blood and blood everywhere,got a very good attention after it's launch.
The Bad: Nothing much but may be M-rated (most kids can't play it).
Glitches/Bugs: They are few of them and some of them are pretty useful in the game.
Buy/Rent? If you want to play once then rent because game is short (almost 9hrs) Or if you are great fan of action & adventure, you had to buy it.
