Publisher Outright Games and Hasbro have revealed My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery, a new open-world game set in the popular My Little Pony franchise. This new game follows the ponies Sunny, Izzy, Misty, Pipp, Zipp, and Hitch as they race to stop strange magic from turning the world upside down. The game will be available from May 17 for PC, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Switch.

Developed by Drakhar Studio, the developer behind games like Ginger: Beyond the Crystal and Grumpy Reaper. Like the animated source material, My Little Pony: A Zephyr Heights Mystery looks like lighthearted fun set inside the kingdom of Equestria. When players aren't stopping magical calamities from occurring, they can engage in replayable mini-games like Pipp's Photo Shoot, Hitch is on the Trail, and Sunny's Smoothie Delivery. The game will also feature collectibles to chase down, photo opportunities, and cosmetics for your pony.

My Little Pony has had a fairly consistent presence over the decades since Hasbro first launched the toys, with several revivals over the years. The fourth incarnation of the franchise has arguably been the most popular one to date and has been a sales juggernaut as a transmedia property, with animated series, movies, and toys rolling out.

Hasbro once again relaunched My Little Pony in 2021, with Generation Five being a direct continuation of the Friendship is Magic era of the franchise.
