Luigi's Mansion 2 Preorders For Nintendo Switch Live At Amazon
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD releases for Switch on June 27.
First launched on Nintendo 3DS, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon is officially making the jump to Nintendo Switch on June 27. Dubbed Luigi's Mansion 2 HD, the enhanced version of the charming adventure is now available to preorder. Side note: If you haven't played Luigi's Mansion 3 on Nintendo Switch, you can pick it up for only $40 right now for Mario Week at Amazon, Best Buy, Walmart, and other major retailers.
The Nintendo Switch version of Luigi's Mansion 2 HD features refreshed graphics similar to the third entry in the series. Updated visuals combined with quality-of-life updates that should make this the ideal way to experience the ghost-hunting action in 2024. Aside from the graphical tweaks, this looks to be a faithful adaptation of the iconic 3DS game--including all the same puzzles, enemies, and even the ScareScraper multiplayer mode.
Our Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon review gave the original game solid marks for its charming characters and atmospheric levels, though its lack of checkpoints and difficulty spikes made the adventure more challenging than expected.
Luigi's Mansion 2 HD preorder bonuses
There are currently no preorder bonuses for Luigi's Mansion 2 HD on Nintendo Switch. This could change, but right now there's nothing offered by Best Buy, GameStop, or Amazon. Retailers often have exclusive preorder goodies for Nintendo games, but those usually aren't available right when preorders go live.
