Animal Crossing New Leaf Review

Lets start of by saying that this is a non biased review do to that I have never played a game in this series before and I had low expectations for the experience in this game.

Part 1: Introduction To Game
When I first started up the game I was quite surprised about how cartoony the graphics were and how much the annoying animals talk about that you have to read as they make beeps and squeaks trying to communicate with you. Once I finished setting up I jumped right into the gameplay were you are the major of a small town. It was a pleasant introduction that got me up to date about what you do in this series and was great for beginners. One more thing at the beginning there is a bus that you go in and an annoying cat talks to you.

Part 2: Gameplay
The gameplay is a very great experience that flows very nicely and is like a typical RPG. But there is a catch unlike a normal RPG, were you explore a vast world, fight, and interact with other characters in a great narrative, you as I said before are the major of a town and run the town. As major you can do almost every thing you want, you can make items that Isabel the dog allows you to make, you can buy and trade items, you can buy things to decorate and customize your house, and you can catch some different types of animals and sell them or give them to the museum. As you can see there is a lot of things to do in Animal Crossing Newleaf, but there are alot of limitations holding it back from being a open-world game, or even an Simcity or Grand Theft Auto competitor. But despite those cons this game is full of pros that makes it an experience that grows on you and is even addicting.

Part 3: Conclusion
Finally despite some minor setbacks makes and limitations this game is truly a great game and is a must-have for the 3DS.

Pros:

+ Great different fun experience

+ Amazingly fun for a 3DS kid orientated game

- Many limitations

- Kid-ish looks
