Great old survival horror game(This review is made after the patch!)
I played the game on normal difficult and it was ok.
The controls are very good, the fight system is not hard nor easy, the dodge button (B) works perfectly if you push it in the right moment, you almost wont get hit never if you fight properly and take your time, there are plenty of woods and "weapons" to fight all the monsters in most of the situations.
Controlling Amy is very easy yet fun to do, her responses are very good, i didn't see any problem like a lot of users said about she doing anything except what you tell her to do, maybe is because of the patch
The checkpoint system is very good, kinda frequent for me but seems just right, and if you quit between a chapter the game gets saves just after the last checkpoint, you dont have to make the whole chapter again, a save feature will be better but well works very good.
No frame-rate issues for me, just a few textures flickering from time to time but well i think this is because of the engine, same as dark souls and you encounter the same little bugs there too.
The graphics are good, the environment is kinda so so nothing really prominent but the characters are very well done, and the moves too.
The music is very good, and the voice acting well, some let say that Marcelo voice and dialogs will drive you crazy!!!Others are ok, the game doesnt shine in this aspect really
The puzzles some are pretty cleavers, others are boring, like the figures match..very boring and bad puzzle design :(
And why do you have to use Amy to go through a hole when you fit perfectly, why didn't they make it a little more small, this takes away a lot of realism to the game :S
Not a very long game but will keep you entertaining for some hours :)
Short review but I talk about everything the patch fix (I think)
So please give it another try you wont be disappointed!
