As the wrong is well and rightfully complained about I thought I would talk about the charm. Guns, unrealistic fight scenes, choose your own adventure cut-scenes, girls, and explosions. It may not sound all that charming and it definitely doesn't pretend to be deep but give it a moment. There are plenty of games out there vastly superior in their technical prowess but that isn't Alpha Protocol's bag. If you look at it as just abit of fun it all really makes sense. So yes I want big fireballs and to shoot guns around corners with impossible accuracy and I want to choose how I handle the various situations in combat and the social interactions. I don't mind where it breaks down as much because I just start the game up again. What we enjoy in life isn't always reliable or deep. For me this game is a good example of that.
