A Fast Paced Shooting Game That Requires a Lot of Skill to Master!

While it would be a lot more efficient and cost-effective for Neo Geo to do what Nintendo has done for their NES and Super NES games; release a BUNCH of their games at the same time, it's still pretty convenient to be able to buy this game through the Nintendo Switch Online Service and be able to play it anytime you want. Even though this game came relatively early in the Neo Geo system's life-cycle in 1991, this game still showed just what the system was capable of, being able to produce very great 16 through 24 bit graphics, excellent sound, music, and solid controls. So, why wasn't Neo Geo able to become a third tier video game hardware company to Nintendo and Sega? Probably the same mistake that Sony made in 2006, when they launched the PS3 for an OUTRAGEOUS launch price, with no recognizable video game character games, and no killer apps exclusive to the system! While Sony had the money and resources to SURVIVE such a stumble, the Neo Geo's expensive system price was something that Neo Geo was never able to get over, DESPITE releasing games for that system WELL into 2004, FAR longer than any other 16 bit system was ever able to! Still, this game is a good example of what the Neo Geo system's strengths were; playing arcade quality games, at arcade quality graphics, sounds, music, controls, and no shortage of difficulty to face! Thankfully, having to fly through space, pick up power-ups, avoid enemies and their attacks, and defeat tough bosses, is a lot easier thanks to the Nintendo Switch's ability to let you have unlimited continues, which you will inevitably have to lose, when you lose all your lives due to the advanced difficulty of this game! But if you want to play a retro 16-bit game, from the Neo Geo system, this is definitely one of the better choices out there! I highly recommend it to people who want to challenge their own high score, or for someone who likes playing with their friends! Enough said, true believers!
