Super Immersive and enjoyable... Aaah the hand held torch! where would you be without it?
The lighting effects immediately give you a sense of fear and as the game progresses a distinct excitement builds.
The player movement is hampered by a clumsy control on the keyboard, but after an hour skill takes over and the game commences swimmingly. I particularly loved the basement scene and the water effects are very realistic.
The sound effects serve to set a very chilling and unnerving atmosphere.
I love the genre and think that future games in this line will be very popular.
For the time of its release, it really took a place of honour in my collection. The puzzles in this instalment are generally good and an enjoyable gaming experience all round.
