I've been playing this for almost 17 hours,just finished it and want to point out what a masterpiece of a game!
It has everything:
- superb storytelling with lot of action packed sequences as if you are in a thriller - horror movie ;
- addictive gameplay with a lot of original ideas implemented with style in the story ;
- great graphics, with realistic detailed backgrounds, people and weather effects ;
- superb soundtrack, some rock hits for the fans ;
- a lot of easter eggs,collectibles and background story files like manuscripts etc.
Also they added free downloadable bonus material like making-of videos, artwork, game scripts, so you can see what an incredible Alan Wake world Remedy managed to create.
I would recommend this game to all gamers out there, it's definitely a classic! I'm really sorry that they wouldn't make a sequel though, and only the American Nightmare one.
