One of the most addicting games I have ever played.

Age of Empires II is truly an unforgettable game. If you're a fan of RTS games, you'll love it, and even if you're not, you'll get something out of it as well. The game has campaigns set in the era of Joan of Arc, Saladin, and many more famous historical characters. You can choose to follow each story, or you can set up your own game against AI or other players in a sandbox like mode.

I was never a big fan of RTS games until I played this one, and I've been addicted for years. Apart from the outdated graphics, I've never had any problems or anything I was unsatisfied with. Being able to collect resources and command my little army was one of my greatest joys. I actually started out with the demo that I downloaded from CNET for free, and quickly became hooked. Soon, an actual copy of the game was in my hands and you couldn't get it away from me if you tried.

Both the Age of Empires and Command and Conquer series have been the pure essence of real time strategy games, so if you're a fan of any of those, you'll love this game
