They didnt seem to realize that great music and a great author does not make up for shoddy programming.

The game had so much potential, which unfortunately was all the game really had going for it. The silly thing was a mess of technical problems. The story was good, the music great (when it worked), everything else was terrible, the graphics were uninspired, the frame rate actually dropped to one on a fairly consistent basis, and for no particular reason. I would be running from one boring looking area to another and the frame rate would plummet. So to sum up; good story, good music, poorly implemented everything else. Boo to Advent rising, it really didn’t live up to its hype.
