Well I waited for 3 months to get this game and I got it as soon as it hit shelves. As soon as i reached home I ripped open the packaging and booted up my psp. After watching all of its interesting Anime movies I started my first mission. Well there is no tutorial but its easy to get the hang of the controls. I got engrossed into the game and played it for only 2 (14 short missions) when the credits start rolling.I was shocked to find only 14 missions in the game. I suggest that only die hard ace combat fans can love this game(like me) as it only has a campaign mode for single player. Multiplayer only supports ad-hoc. Its extremely hard to find other players who have the game and a psp so its almost impossible to play multiplayer. After winning the short campaign I can only keep replaying the story mode again and again. Well Namco should have put in alot more effort in the campaign mode. On the plus side, the game has amazing visuals like mountain tops, deserts well crafted for the psp. The game also has tremendous sound effects which adds to the realism of the game. From time to time your teammates and the enemy would radio you messages like taunts, distress calls and mission updates. This feature will get you a sense of urgency to complete a mission.
