Miles Edgeworth is the best character in the series, so it's about time they made a game starring him.

This Ace Attorney spin-off introduces some new elements that will make the series more varied and intriguing, should it continue down this path. The game concentrates on investigating crimes, and you can now move around areas via 2-D sprites, which is an improvement over the first-person view that you were locked into in previous games. With more freedom of movement, you can in many cases investigate multiple areas, which allows you to figure out the crime at your own pace.

Another new element is the Logic section, where you can put together the connection between two different facts to reach new conclusions. Sometimes the connections are head-slappingly obvious, but others require some clever deductions.

Speaking of deductions, this game's stories follow a more sensical path than previous games. This results in the game being a little easier than the others, but it also removes most of the frustrating "how did they expect me to get that out of that?" moments. Even though the game is a bit easier, it's no less satisfying when you put together pieces of the puzzle.
