This game is average for a side-scroller, though it is interesting in that it utilizes combined play between 3 characters. The 3 characters often have to be used simultaneously to achieve the desired task. It can suck you in on a day where you have nothing else to do and feel like pulling out the Sega Genesis. I would drop $5 on this game, but I actually ended up paying $1.99 at Game Swap in Tri-County Mall in Cincinnati, Ohio. “Aaah!!!!! Real Monsters” is a lot of fun for the money (used), but is a game that I would have passed on in its heyday due to its price.
