User Rating: 9.1 | .hack//G.U. Vol. 2: Kimi Omou Koe PS2
Vol.2 starts right where vol.1 left off. The story continues and several truths are revealed. This volume of course plays just like the first, graphics remain just the same, sound is again of course the same. Voice acting is well done and the story only gets better despite its slow down from time to time. New game play mechanics include the new Devine awakining that is stronger depending on how much your party likes you. The biggest thing is the job extension to form 3. Haseo looks like the Terror of Death again at long last. Meaning the scythe of the flick reaper is finally at your disposal. Better is the fact that you can now change weapon from sythe to twin blade to broad sword mid fight using your skill triggers. Making battle more fast and exciting. Avatar battles are about the same though Skeith gets an upgrade and can dish out more damage and some other tricks. There are up to 6 new characters that will join you adding more to the game. One down side is that a good portion of the game is again in the arena but thats not all that bad as it adds to the games appeal. Conversation from volume 1 brings over your levels, items, stats, and all your information so its worth playing 1 first. Also as a bonus you can get the dopple ganger weapons with the item from the first. As well as the first episode of .hack//Roots. The game is about 30-40 hours long story wise. But like the first for all the side quests and ryu book completion it adds up to about 70+hours.
