the story's great the game play tho isn't so great i just couldn't get the feel of the game but playing through it will be greatly satisfying, the story continues the story of dot hack now the game is on its second version and a mysterious enemy known to put players in a coma has emerged. the graphics are nice for a very late gen ps2 game, with all the next gen graphics out there these wont stun you but the cell shaded look will draw some kudos from me which is really how all the dot.hack games should have been like. even if you have never played a dot.hack game you can still get into this if u have played one before if u put in ur memory card you get some sort of reward/special item. one or two complaints are expected battles still feel shallow, and if i ever have to hear the words RENGEKIE shouted again i will kill some one! the story is the best part of the game, i would rent this game, it doesnt come with a dvd like the other dot.hacks and right now it still costs about 40 bucks for a 20 hour game (i finished it at about 30 hours but i left my console on a bit to much so it might not be totaly acurate) this is a rent, buy only if your planning on getting the others and keeping them.
